May 2012 update: The County Legislature has been officially downsized from a 25 member body (currrent map below) to a 19 member body, however (10 year census) re-districting is still pending as is the drawing of the new 19 district lines in conjuction therewith. As such the 19 member body will not take affect until the next election after redrawing is complete, which should be (and actually must be) for 2013. There is a redistricting commission that was formed who have met and are working (though it seems they may have stalled) on this. As far as we know there is at least one more commission meeting pending. County constituents should pay attention as to the proposal in how it will affecrt your Leg district/Town. Once they have finalzed their proposal it will be sent to the legislature to be ratified by a vote of the full body.

There were no 2012 redistricting changes that affected the 57th Senate Dist for our county.
Map below is prior to 2012 redistricting. As for Chaut County, Dist150 now covers our entire county and as such Dist149 stops at the Catt County line.
